On-site vs off-site construction

Here’s my block of cheese, all ready to go..

When you start with blank walls, it’s so easy to start feeling like you’re over-filling the walls and starting to look like a crazy person.Look at your favorite magazine and catalog rooms though, I guarantee you that the walls of those rooms are just full to the brim!

On-site vs off-site construction

Fill the walls up with things you love and stop fussing!(That last comment.be mostly directed at myself.).

Hooks are handy. It’s no secret that I love the look of a good hook.

On-site vs off-site construction

A kid’s room is the perfect place to let all your hook dreams come true.

If you’ve ever found yourself picking up 1001 different sweaters, pyjamas, and towels off of the floor, then you know what I’m talking about.Kennedy and Chris are here to help.. We mixed up a solution of roughly 1 part white glue to 1 part water.. Kennedy got herself set up on the kitchen floor with some newspaper and paper towels strips and then got to work.

She dipped each strip in the gluey water and smooshed it onto the pumpkin shape.Who doesn’t love the feeling of squishing glue between their fingers?.

In the end, we had a couple of pumpkins that looked like this!We left them to dry on some plastic wrap for about 2 days, or until they were as hard as rock.. We used some orange and black paint to make them a little bit festive and that was it!.
